According to the WWL blog, LSU to start classes next Tuesday.Jefferson Parish schools *could* reopen by Dec 1. Digest that one for a minute.
Meanwhile, CNN viewers on the Saints forum are reporting that they just claimed Plaquemines parish has washed away. Could just be sensationalist reporting, but this is the same big media which intonated that New Orleans was relatively spared yesterday. Today we see that is clearly not the case, as Gov Blanco said this morning, "This is worse than our worst fears."
