My roommate's insane college football preview
Of interest: he thinks Mack Brown is the 9th best coach in the Big 12 (agree), and Tiger Stadium is 2nd to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville as the best stadium in the SEC (bullshit!).

1. Autzen Stadium, Oregon
2. Reser Stadium, Oregon State
3. Martin Stadium, Washington State
4. Memorial Coliseum, Southern Cal
5. Rose Bowl, UCLA
I'm curious what his qualifications were for best stadium....although USC has a great football team, i can honestly say, (and i think your roommate has lived in LA for a while so he's probablyl been there also [I've been twice], USC's stadium is terrible). No Sight lines, it was built for the Olympics, not football.
Reser Stadium, outside of one remodel to the home seats (which basically was putting an overhang to cover the alumni, this place is a HS stadium.
I've been to every stadium in the PAC 10, at least Twice, and here are my rankings.
Five Best Stadiums (judged on, view of game from all seats, outlay of stadium, atmosphere).
1. U. of Oregon
2. U. of Washington
3. U. of Arizona
4. UCLA
5. ASU (any stadium that celebrates it's team's victory in the SALAD bowl deserves recognition.
I'm pretty sure he's only been to the L.A. area stadiums from the Pac 10. I think he's ranking them based on what he's seen and heard, and in order of where he'd want to go, but I've told him he's wrong about UW not being on there, ESPECIALLY below the Coliseum. That place is junk.
