The Palmeiro-steroids nonsense

Ugh, Palmeiro was the one guy I actually believed. While I want to hold out hope that he's telling the truth still, I get the feeling he must have gotten his trainer to give him whatever is humanly possible that is short of steroids, and whatever he got actually triggered the positive test. Clearly, he'd be a moron to have had anything close to steroids intentionally in his system at the beginning of the year (when he supposedly actually failed the test). Given that the allegations have been in the news for months, players have had ample time to get the juice out of their systems.

In any event, for Palmeiro to REALLY clear himself, he needs to give a rundown of exactly what supplements he takes, how much he takes, and let the public figure out what it was that caused his positive test. Honestly, if he didn't take steroids intentionally, what the hell does he have to hide? The whole world already knows he's on Viagra (he was their spokesman a year or two ago, if you recall). Just come out with it, dude.
