From the wire:Thu Aug 25 2005 - Cedric Benson has reportedly put his Libertyville, IL house up for sale and shipped a pair of cars back to his home state of Texas. The implication, of course, is that Benson is willing to settle in for an indefinite holdout. The Bears have reportedly not spoken with Benson's agent for 10 days.For all his talk of distancing himself from Ricky Williams (cutting his dreads, etc.), clearly Cedric won't be able to drop one label: he is an asshole. I've got no sympathy for this guy, trying to capitalize on the fact that Philip Rivers got a great deal as the #4 pick last year simply because his agent helped him get closer to #1 pay (since it was a draft-and-trade Eli Manning deal with the Giants).
