The absolute joke that is the Canadian healthcare system

Yes, our system has plenty of inefficiencies and is by no means a model for the world, but those who want nationalized healthcare ought to at least understand the implications of such a scheme, quite visible up in Canada.

Yearlong waits for granny to get her hip replacement. Six month waits for a cat scan. (Sinusitis? Yeah, just wait till next allergy season for your meds.)

As the article points out, the probability gets higher every day that a parallel private system will be implemented up north. Good for them. At least they'll have CHOICE.
